can we create a desktop app which can update user's status on facebook after the user provides the login and password for his/her account, using python language? I have searched everywhere for answers but probably got answers above my level of understanding. I only came across answers that address the issue if one is trying to make an app for a website. some detailed explanation would be appreciated.
