Facebook app access token

I retrieved my app access_token by going to the following link:

I believe that the app token given are permanent which is good for me but what I am wondering is if it is safe to expose the generated token client side as it isn't exposing the app secret?

Basically I want to use FB.api(/public_page/feed?access_token=TOKEN_RETRIEVED_FROM_ABOVE_LINK)
